Creating a brand will give you clarity. Clarity about your ideal clients.

During the brand creation process, we will identify and analyse your key target audiences. Understanding who they are, and why they should be interested in what you have to offer, is an extremely valuable exercise.

Clarifying your brand will give you the confidence that you a saying the right things to the right people. So, new business meetings, elevator pitches at networking meetings and posts on social media will be delivered with confidence and consistency.

Confident customers are more likely to trust you, more likely to buy from you, more likely to come back and buy from you again and again, and more likely to pay more for what you are offering. And, best of all, confident, loyal customers are more likely to become advocates for your brand. Doing the hard work of selling your business and your brand to new customers for you.

WHAT DO I MEAN BY YOUR BRAND?

Your brand isn’t the nice logo and pretty colours that the term is often, incorrectly, associated with. A brand is about creating a connection between your business and your ideal clients.

As human beings, our decsions are often dictated by the emotional part of our brain. So, creating a successful brand is about creating an emotional connection with your consumers.

This is done by defining what your brand is. Your ‘why’. The values, personality and stories the brand live by.

Your brand is the DNA of your business. It should be present in everything you do. From your brand identity to the way you answer the phone. From the stories you tell on your website, in brochures and tweets, to how you deal with a complaint.

But your brand is more than what you think and say. Your brand is also what others feel, think and say about you.

So, for your brand to get their attention, it has to trigger an emotion.

Our Brand Creation Process consists of four phases:

PHASE 1: BRAND CREATION QUESTIONNAIRE

This is a thorough questionnaire, asking you about your business, your ambitions for your business, your customers and your competitors.

I make no apologies for how comprehensive this questionnaire is. The questions are designed to get you to start thinking about your business in a different way – as a brand.

PHASE 2: PRE-SESSION MARKET RESEARCH

The information you provide in the questionnaire will be used as the basis for our own research into your marketplace, in preparation for the Brand Creation Session.

At this stage, it would be really useful (if possible) to talk to two or three of your existing clients to get their experience and insights into your business/brand, to understand how they are benefiting from the experience.

PHASE 3: BRAND CREATION SESSION

The Brand Creation Session will take the form of a face-to-face session or Zoom call (depending on geography).

During the session, we will discuss and quiz the answers you have provided in the questionnaire in more detail. Slowly, the information needed to create your unique brand will be revealed.

PHASE 4: BRAND DNA BLUEPRINT & ACTION PLAN

Following the Brand Creation Session, I will then produce a Brand DNA Blueprint. This is a 8/10-page summary of everything discussed, which will define your brand and key brand messages.

Accompanying the Brand DNA Blueprint, will be a bespoke Action Plan, with a list of actions designed to move your brand forward.
